He went to Twilight and asked her about this and told him he held a magical reserve inside him that he can use to make fire.

Personality: He now can be brave and tries to make sure no pony get hurt and he tries to resolves problems without fighting but if he has to he will if he gets angry he might just yell and make other ponies feel bad in which he in turn feels sorry for what he said or did.
