Appearance: Eye Color: Ecru (#C2B280)<br /><br />Coat: Dark Beige. (#C8AD7F) A lighter sand colored spot is found at the back of her right hoof.<br /><br />Mane/Tail color: Flame. (#E25822) Parts and curves on the right side, extending and covering part of her face, then extending outward. Overall long and slightly spiked. Tail is also wavy, though a bit disheveled.

Cutie Mark: A checker piece with a small, black wooden board behind it. It implies that her talent is abstract strategic gaming; especially in reversi, checkers, and to a lesser extent, variation chess.

Personality: Blockade is a calculative and cunning strategist. She attempts to predict the future moves of her opponents, and find ways to defeat them or take them down. <br /><br />Though she is generally seen as cold and condescending, she actually treats her comrades and friends fairly and surprisingly warm and nice to her family. Though she does make sacrifices with her partners and is a risk taker, she draws the lines on treating her ponies as pieces.<br /><br />Blockade does not believe in the majority. She goes by her own beliefs, her own righteousness. This, however, does make her stubborn, as she believes that her words are absolute. She also does something not for the excitement of it, but to win.

Backstory: Blockade was born in Aldres, Equestria, located in the Equestrian Central-East region. Her family was of decent wealth; she had only one sibling, which was a young sister four years younger than her. Her father was once a major in the Royal Equestrian Army, but left the army and became an author, survivalist, and knife manufacturer. (And yes, all at the same time.)<br /><br />At a young age, she played games with other ponies; though all she honestly cared about was defeating other ponies. Blockade researched deeply into everything she could find. It didn't surprised anypony when her cutie mark appeared when she was nine years old when she deceitfully won in a capture the flag game.<br /><br />Expected to succeed her father, she was fairly notable by other ponies, especially in school. She surpassed and was in the top in every school she went to. This was achieved mostly by her manipulative skills, and getting what other ponies want.<br /><br />When she was enlisted into the Equestrian Midland Military Academy, she began studying in social science, philosophy, economics, and military science and tactics. At 23, she graduated from the military academy and reserve officer training academy, becoming at first a second lieutenant in the royal guard reserves. <br /><br />When she was 28, Blockade was promoted to lieutenant and captain at 35. She is married and has an eleven year old colt.
