Cutie Mark: His cutie mark is the plague doctor mask he holds in the image. Simply put, he's an actor who loves to take on the role of villains.

Personality: Blue Hearth's a pretty swell guy. He is very gentlemanly, as befitting a rather well-to-do Canterlot citizen, doing everything by the book. Of course, he may be too formal for ponies unaccustomed to mannerisms, but he still has the best intentions in heart.<br /><br />Being an actor, he has a tendency to emote everything, complete with hoof-gestures and DRAMATIC TONES LIKE THIIISSS!!!!! He tries to keep up his gentleman persona, but he has that tendency.<br /><br />Having parents with high expectations, he tends to be concerned with his image. He's expected to and is relatively comfortable being well-mannered, but sometimes he just wants to jump up to the highest vantage point and give an impassioned speech from a play. It's a struggle a lot of times.

Backstory: Blue Hearth's family were rather middle-class, but more well-to-do than others in Canterlot. His parents (the father a unicorn, the mother a pegasus) once aspired to be actors, but they were shunned so many times that they gave up and became doctors. They didn't wish the same for their son, which is well and all, but it lead to some rather... strict behavior.<br /><br />Blue Hearth was put through some of the most prestigious schools in Canterlot, all to become a doctor. He picked up quickly on everything his teachers taught him, but he was the lazy sort who preferred to socialize over discussing how to intubate a patient or how to work with unicorns who knew restorative magic (his mother always complained about "that witch doctor hogging all the glory and living vicariously through his daughter"). Combined with being obsessed with remembering quotes, he was no end of trouble for his parents.<br /><br />His only blessing in his childhood was his uncle, a set designer for an acting troupe. A laid-back individual, he often took Blue to places his parents didn't allow him to go. His very favorite place was the theater his uncle's troupe worked at. He met a few distinguished actors and actresses, even got a signature or two. But whenever he brought up his wishes to take a drama class to join the troupe, his parents would shoot him down.<br /><br />So with some encouragement, he ran away. He attempted to get himself emancipated at the age of 14, but his uncle found him an alley way and took him home. There, his uncle launched into a speech directed at Blue's parents about letting him follow his dreams, and it was then that his parents finally told them why they had been so restrictive. Reluctantly, they agreed to let him enroll.<br /><br />But Blue's uncle wasn't done yet. When they got alone, his uncle chided him for thinking he could handle himself at his age, running off when he had neither the resources nor the knowledge to take on the world. Blue agreed to never run off ill-prepared again, but to this day, he still doesn't fully understand why his uncle did what he did.<br /><br />Depending on the RP, Blue is either still in acting school or some sort of drama class, or in his uncle's troupe as an actor. But either way, he earned his plague doctor cutie mark when he received an award for masterfully playing the antagonist role in a play.<br /><br />
