Cutie Mark: Blue Skies' cutie mark was a beautiful expanse of clouds, sky, and the sun. Her mother always told her that her cutie mark expressed her in a way that words could not.

Personality: Blue Skies was a playful and rambunctious cutie who could always make any of her family laugh. She would laugh at nearly anything, and had an adorable little giggle that could make even the most anti-social ponies smile. She was wild and free, much like the sky in her cutie mark.

Backstory: Blue Skies was born to Alfonso Rumeire Schleiden III and Feather Quill Schleiden almost two years after the return and defeating of Nightmare Moon. From birth, she was surrounded by her aunts and uncles, cousins, brothers and sisters, and especially, her parents, all doting on her and enjoying playing with her.<br />Until Shadow Footsteps came. He came as just one part of a raid to wipe the Schleiden family name off Equestria for good (see below). The band stormed into the Schleiden plantation, killing or burning anyone or anything that got in their way. Blue Skies awoke to the arms of butler scooping her up into a blanket. Telling her to be as quiet as she could be, he silently fled the estate.<br />As they reached the far gate, the butler stumbled, and the blanket over Blue Skies' face slipped down. She had to stifle a gasp at what she saw. Her mother and father were right behind them!<br />But, in an instant, Shadow Footsteps appeared behind them and mercilessly cut them down.<br />As they fell, he pulled a knife from the shadows and poised to throw it straight into the butler's back. But as he aimed, as the butler whinnied with fright, Shadow paused, looking into the innocent, wide-eyed face of Blue Skies.<br />After a moment of thought, he quickly aimed and threw the knife. The butler braced himself, but the pain never came. Looking back, the butler saw Shadow leaving. He was letting them go.<br />But, looking into his precious bundle, he realized that his troubles were far from over. Blue Skies was out cold.
