Appearance: Blueprint has a nearly white mane and tail. Her mane is spiky and straight at the front, but curled at the back; her tail is nearly wavy. Her eyes are a rich mix of red and violet; she is almost never seen without her trademark grey fedora.

Cutie Mark: A lightly colored blueprint with a black question mark next to it. On the blueprint, there is a circle, along with an acute angle sticking out from its center. <br /><br />Surprisingly, her talent is focused on investigative skills, not on architecture or engineering. The "blueprint" is in fact an implication to the blue hoofprint dusting powder.

Personality: Born with a strong sense of justice, Blueprint has a good sense of morality and easily know things right from wrong. She does what she believes is for the good, and proves this by taking the occupation as an investigative agent and detective, which also serves a second purpose of exemplifying her talent and this trait.<br /><br />This sense of justice and morality, however, can sometimes be misguided due to her naive personality. She has a lack of understanding and is unable to comprehend the losses of others. Why should we lie to gain our innocence? Why must we fight when a compromise can be reached? Why can't some ponies accept others when we're all the same species?<br /><br />She does have her humorless side, however. Blueprint tends to see the "political" side of everything i.e. taking seemingly trivial things and turning them into philosophical or governmental manners. As said by her closest friend Astrolabe, she "couldn't walk outside without commenting how the weather is artificially handled, the imminent depletion of resources, or the industrialization and expansion of towns."<br /><br />Her occupation and having a filly and two colts doesn't make up much time for leisure; her only apparent ones are drawing and mentality reading – something Astrolabe comments as "pseudoscience". Along with flaunting her mathematical skills while assisting on her filly's homework...if that counts.

Backstory: Blueprint was born in Bridleshire, Equestria, a moderately sized city (though majority of the city are less developed and populated) with a population of about 68,000 ponies, due south-southwest of Ponyville, along the borders of the Everfree Forest. It serves as a center point to to Ponyville-Fillydelphia trail, along as a "crossroad" to the Bridleshire-Ridgeline Trail, usually associated with the larger part of a transcontinental trail known as the Overland Trail. <br /><br />Anyways, Blueprint had two earth pony parents, though it was believed that she had a very small percentage of crystal pony descent, as one of her ancestors from about two hundred years ago bore traits of a crystal pony due to recessive trait heredity. She has a younger brother four years younger than her named Stratum, who now worked as a geological scientist who studied in rock aging and plate tectonics. <br /><br />She was a justice giver in her school, always trying to find secrets and solve "cases". Her attitude is what lead her to ultimately acquire her cutie mark. She had gotten it at age eight from a mock trial composed by Blueprint herself when they found that several of the textbooks were missing. Blueprint immediately started with the case, finding any evidence that could lead her to a breakthrough.<br /><br />Blueprint even asked her suspects to testify and cross examine; eventually she was able to pin the evidence onto a filly student who worked as an school aide, but accidentally misplaced the books. The result was that not only that everypony in her class got their textbooks, but she also got her cutie mark in the process.<br /><br />Her first encounter with Astrolabe was in junior high. When she was twelves, she was arranged with a fourteen year old teenage filly who was seemingly a genius. The filly introduced herself as Astrolabe, her "school buddy" for the year. Though she was weird in her own ways, Blueprint learned to somehow appreciate her; at first for secretly taking answers from answer, but gradually accepting her personality and becoming best friends.<br /><br />As she became an adult, she moved to Fillydelphia, where she settled down to take her university classes. She took post-graduate classes after that, and when she finished her degree, she instantly fell in love with a stallion, who was three years older than her. Blueprint married at twenty four.<br /><br />Afterwards she took the occupation as a private investigator; though she often associated herself with the constabulary and guards to get into crime scenes. Most of her cases, however, were dealing with lesser issues.<br /><br />Her first child, Anecdote, was born at twenty six, the second, Asymptote at twenty eight, and the third, Assonance, at twenty nine. Her first and third child is male, and her second is female. <br /><br />Though Blueprint continues to remain in her occupation as a detective, she occasionally transitions to being her foals' little mother. Funnily enough, she doesn't know how to cook or bake anything; her husband does it for her instead. She now works for the Equestrian National Investigative Services, though she usually deals with cases individually.
