Species: Earth Pony

Appearance: A cloudy-grey Earth Pony with a white mane and blue eyes. He's slightly taller and more thick-set than average, but not to a noticable degree.

Cutie Mark: Crossed spear and flag (usully the Equestrian flag) with the spear leading. The flag represents his loyalty to [Equestria / other, delete, somewhat ironically, as applicable] whilst the spear indicates his inclination towards martial service (be it in the Guard or some similar organisation.)

Personality: Bramble has a strong sense of duty to [Equestria / other] and to protect those around him from harm. Beyond that, he tends to mix with others like himself (usually in the Guard) and to be somewhat quiet and reserved, for better or for worse. His worst flaw is a lack of consideration for 'non-physical' concerns - he will simple forget about or ignore any ill-will or bad feelings from others, and this can blinker him to wider threats. He would confront a raging hydra in a flash, but he wouldn't see the significance of two ponies bickering unless they came to blows.

Backstory: Born to a single mother in the Royal Guard, Bramble never knew his father - his mother refused to talk about him, and Bramble never confronted her over the matter. She was killed during the Changling invasion, after which Bramble was cared for by a series of his mother's friends in the Royal Guard. It was during this time, lacking a true parent figure to look up to, that he developed his strong sense of duty to Equestria and the princesses.<br /><br />He is / was / aspires to be a member of the city guard / royal guard / similar, depending on the specific situation and his age in the Role-play.
