Appearance: A slightly darker shade of brown than his sister Cain, with a lighter blue mane and very light blue eyes. He has a few scars on him and usually is found wearing his armour.
His armour is similar to that of Shining Armour, only that it is dark grey with silver accents and a blue and gold striped plume. It is also emblazoned with the house sigil; a crossing silver unicorn horn and a silver blade, shooting golden sparks to form a R.
Cutie Mark: TBA
Personality: Braw Rhyfelgri is the eldest and only son of his clan. He is the stereotypical knight; brawny and powerful but well-spoken and polite, he exemplifies the privileged colt. He enlisted at 14, the year in Delirium that one officially becomes an adult, and even without the influence of his ruling family climbed the ranks swiftly. Eventually promoted to the Commander of the Militia after the mysterious death of his predecessor, he largely changed the military from being unnecessarily cruel and violent to being slightly more dignified.
He was quiet as a child but commanded presence in a room. He does not get along with his sister Carys but loves his other, Cain, dearly. Despite his calm exterior, he struggles to suppress a force inside him which he calls Cythraul. He can lapse into a state of demonic destruction, but is generally contained when this happens to avoid showing his other side. He loses his memory of these incidents right after.
He is promised to Prin Gwaith, the daughter of the lords of the country Slavek.
Backstory: When Braw was born, the Rhyfelgri family refused to invite the neighbouring Violi rulers, the Marwolaeth. Angered by this refusal to acknowledge them, they used a dark ritual to possess the child, causing him to have an alter ego which he later named Cythraul.
Despite having this obstacle, he proved to be a fairly bright child (though not so much as his sister Carys) and a highly able warrior. As is the custom in Delirium, he, the first son, signed up for the military at the age of fourteen. Doing well, he was promoted swiftly until he became Commander at the tender age of 23. It is said that his parents had a hand in his swift promotions, but this was never confirmed.
His mild-mannered form was surprising to an army that had been used to pillaging their own people, and he became fairly popular among his people, though there were many who sought to destroy him and his "heretic" ways. Despite warnings and threats from foes, friends, and family alike, he doggedly stuck to his method of rule and gained powerful allies and enemies.
Through all this, he often secretly visited his younger sister Cain under pretense of checking on the castle to ensure it remained in good shape as the Lord and Lady Rhyfelgri rarely appeared there. When she expressed desire to be free of her prison, he assisted her in her escape, fleeing with her due to her sickly nature.
When Carys, the middle child, noticed that Braw hadn't appeared, she inquired to the military, who claimed he had gone on a special mission. Through the use of her spies and a little torture on the right people, she managed to discern their location and apprehend them as they attempted to escape over the seas to a new land. While she confined Cain with even tighter security, she tormented him until he displayed his second nature and, having exhausted him physically and mentally, let him off with a warning to never meddle again in their affairs. She brushed it off as her sister having used her "weird power" to confuse him. This protected his name and reputation and allowed minimal damage to the families.
To this day, he wishes to help his sister, but continues to work in the military. He is sworn to Prin Gwaith, the daughter of the rulers of Slavek. he has only met her at a few balls hosted by their and other nations, but Prin knows him much better than he knows...
