• Bright Lights

    Stellafera

    • Age: Late Teens

      Gender: Female

      Species: Pegasus

Appearance: Basically the same as pictured above (though she likes to vary her mane-style), plus her cutie mark, naturally. Her headband is covered in bright yellow stars similar to her cutie mark.

As a singer, her voice is worth mention. A good idea would be a slightly younger version of this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_wK-t4v19u0, which is a song that also fits her character fairly well.

Cutie Mark: Cutie mark is a pale yellow star with two navy blue eighth notes in it, respresenting her love of musical theater and performing.

Personality: Bright Lights has a very forceful personality. If you liked her, you'd call it "childlike"; if you didn't, you'd call it "childish". Playful and energetic, she expects other ponies to be just as odd as her fellow "theater ponies", and acts accordingly. Bright Lights is also ditzy and a bit of an idiot at times. She is blissfully unaware of both how annoying she comes across as to some, and her older sister's jealousy at her fame. Bright Lights is well known for her huge stage presence and she brings it with her everywhere she goes, even to situations where it is not needed nor wanted. She wants everypony to be a performer, and when they aren't, she just thinks they need a little work.

But don't let this mislead you. Though by first blush, she seems incredibly juvenile, Bright Lights is, in some ways, a very mature pony. Bright Lights has an incredible work ethic, and takes setbacks and criticism with stride. If she wants something, she stands up and does it. Bright Lights is a passionate, ambitious mare, and she's doing exactly what she wants in life every day because she wouldn't have it any other way.

Backstory: Bright Lights was born and raised in Manehatten by ardent theater parents. She has one older sister, Curtain Call, who, despite being a good dancer and choreographer, never had the natural stage presence of her little sister. She got her cutie mark at a young age when she saw her first musical, and theater has been her life ever since.
