Species: Pegasus

Appearance: Sea Blue with an unkempt Seaweed mane and Golden eyes, She exudes a beauty and confidence that goes beyond her mere appearance. She only has one wing as her left one was cut off in a swordfight when she was young. (See Backstory)

Cutie Mark: A Cutlass identical to the one strapped to her left side. Representing her natural gift for swordplay.

Personality: Briny is about as free a spirit as any grounded pegasus can be. She does everything with the grace and Swagger of a pony with purpose. She possesses a razor sharp wit, and acts as though she is in complete control of every situation she finds herself in, usually. However, if you do push her far enough, she is likely to break down completely. Depending on the situation, this could either mean rolling herself into a ball and crying her eyes out, or Savagely killing anything or anypony who gets in her way. Usually the latter.

Backstory: She was born in the Captain's quarters of the Pirate ship 'Mother of Pearl' to co-captains Deep Blue and China Blue. She showed great promise as a sailor from a young age, and was taught swordfighting by the greatest swordmasters her parents could kidnap.<br /><br />One rainy night when she was only eight years old, Her ship was attacked by enemy pirates, she lost her mother and her wing in the attack, but she managed to steal the sword of the pony responsible and defeat him, leaving an X shaped scar in place of his eye. After the attack was over, she realized that she had received her cutie mark at some point during the fight. She still carries the sword that killed her mother, and one day she will use it to kill the one who used it.<br /><br />She now serves as First mate under her father.
