Backstory: Bronze Statue was born an grew up in Fillydelphia. His mother was an Earth Pony like him, but his father was a pegasus. Bronze Statue's mother was a raging alcoholic, so his father was forced to take care of him. This left Bronze Statue's father grounded. Because of this, Bronze Statue was inspired to make an exoskeletar suit that would allow himself to fly with his father. To achieve this, he studied mechanical engineering in Canterlot. After ten years of hard work, the suit still isn't done.
