Cutie Mark: A small, wooden sailboat.

Personality: Very upbeat. Not easily offended, and tries to find ways to deflect bad things with humor, regardless of how unfunny they may be. Mostly a family-stallion. Enjoys company.

Backstory: He was raised with no siblings in Las Pegasus until about age 16. His parents divorced then, and he moved with his father to San Trotfrisco, always understanding of his parents' divorce. In his new home, he worked at the docks in the San Trot bay, and at one point, sneaked onto a small cargo vessel. He mistakenly set it on a course for the other side of the bay. When the crew worriedly came to the wheel and saw a young stallion piloting their boat, they became amazed by how quickly he picked up how to get it back in the right direction. They didn't let him continue, but when they arrived at the docks again, the captain of the boat recommended Buck spend his time learning how to work on a ship, and to utilize his new cutie mark. Buck excitedly did that, and became the captain of his own cargo ship at the young age of 18. At 21, he opened his own sailing operation, hiring his own crews for his own ships, and he is fairly successful to this day.
