Personality: A bit of a dork, and proud. Bold to an extent, where she feels is appropriate. Loves to socialize, and really, really hates being alone if she doesn't have to be. Possessive and sometimes sensitive about the bow she wears. She is a closet lesbian, and has always been afraid to come out. She'll humble herself if she realizes she is wrong, and isn't one for enjoying conflict, but doesn't run from it.

Backstory: She was born in Invermare, and lived there until about 20, with her parents, who kicked her out. She didn't have much reaction to it, seeing as she could not do much about it. So, she hitched rides all the way to Canterlot, to live in some of the slums there. She had already had her cutie mark for singing since she was a little filly, so she used that to earn a little extra money in Canterlot alongside being a waitress. In Canterlot, her bow was one of the first things that she bought. It was never worth a lot of bits, nor was it a gift, just a regular bow, but it holds value in her eyes due to the style (which she adores) and that it marked one of the things she obtained for herself. After being in Canterlot's slums for several years, at 24, Butternut moved on to the slightly more wealthy suburban part of the royal city, where she actually does mostly the same thing she did in the slums. She's just a better-paid waitress now.
