Appearance: Chains is a brown male unicorn with a long shaggy strawberry blonde mane and tail, and he has blue eyes. He usually wears a white sleeveless tunic and has a black belt tied around his waist. Chains tends to keep a perplex face but is cheerful no matter the expression.

Cutie Mark: Chains' Cutie Mark is a Yin Yang as his special talent is Kung Fu.

Personality: Chainberlaine is a calm and collective stallion, he does his best to stay civil and not get angry. He is happy to help out in anyway he can with the addition of always being happy, positive and hospitable.<br /><br />Chains usually keeps to himself unless he is helping out. He does not feel threatened when opposed and antagonized by somepony who's bigger than him, and will always come out on top.<br /><br />Chains thinks that "being #1" doesn't really matter. If he loses, he accepts the fact and moves along whilst congratulating the winner (unless the winner turns out to have a very negative attitude.

Backstory: Chainberlane has always had an interest in Martial Arts combat since he was a colt. His dream was and still is to become the world fighting champion by competing in the Equestria Fighting Tournament.<br /><br />He went off at the age of 16, leaving his home in Vanhoover and his family behind to train Kung Fu at the Shaolin Temple near the Horse Shoe Bay. It took him almost 10 years but he was finally deemed an official Shaolin Monk Warrior. They said they will support Chainberlain in the Equestria Fighting Tournament. <br /><br />Chains' friend Nado Kiqs who was a Griffin decided to choose a darker path and turn against Chainberlane, the Shaolin Temple, and soon all of Equestria. In order to do this, he would have to take out Chainberlane by killing him during the tournament and claiming the title of "Equestria's Mightiest Warrior" before being able to slaughter the entire Shaolin Temple.<br /><br />But Chains must win the tournament to prevent this from happening, thus humiliating is rival in front of the whole of Equestria.
