Cutie Mark: Codax's cutie mark is that of the Nightingale Symbol. According to legends, the Nightingale is the greatest thief that ever existed. She stole countless artifacts, and acquired innumerable wealth. Codax is her living disciple, thieving in her name, gathering fortune for her benefit.

Personality: He is quiet as the night, and as deadly as the dawn. He can escape from the sight of nearly everypony in the daytime, and becomes literally invisible during dark. He only truly trusts the Nightingale, and would rather slit your throat as you sleep than to trust you as well.

Backstory: Codax was raised on a farm as a boy. He lived a simple life, until one day, when he was 7, the farm was raided by bandits. They killed his family before his eyes, though they branded no weapons against them. After they utterly destroyed his home, the bandits took him as their slave. He suffered months of traveling, doing all the bandits' biddings, until one night he hid a small dagger in his pillow, waited until they were asleep, and slit their throats, every one of them. He then began to travel down the road, until he came across a ghostly figure, which led him to a cave in the side of a mountain. When he entered, the Nightingale came to him, and made him her disciple. This is when he got his cutie mark. Ever since then, for 18 years, he has been honing his skills as a master thief.
