Species: Earth Pony

Appearance: Refer to image above, drawn with base. Main color is a solid orange. One side of his mane is red, other is yellow. Tail is short-cut and red, with one yellow stripe. Amber eyes.<br /><br />Two metal hooves. Back metal hoof is longer. Front hoof with metal reaches just past a normal pony's hoof.<br /><br />If it wasn't obvious, I totally based his design off of Edward Elric from FMA, though his personality is completely separate.

Cutie Mark: Two hooves connected (Little Red helped me design this. Thanks, Red!). It signifies him being good at kicking and bucking (what with metal hooves and all), but also wanting to help other ponies and always trying to connect with them.

Personality: Cordial is not actually particularly friendly. He tends to be quiet, but open. With closer ponies, he is welcoming, genial, and even chatty. He likes listening to other ponies talk, while not being much of a talker in strange company himself. He's straightforward for the most part, but when with friends, enjoys longer discussions.<br /><br />He's completely helpless against peer pressure, unless it goes completely against his morals, in which case he'll back out, not being much of a fighter. He doesn't like disagreeing, being something of a pacifist and having few strong opinions. He isn't, however, a coward; while he could easily be accused of such, he is wary, and cautious of dangers.<br /><br />Cordial is also not particularly clever. He uses brute force when necessary to get his point across. He'll fight when called for, and will fight for his friends. Though not intelligent, he is loyal. He's also somewhat clumsy.

Backstory: Cordial was very young when his father died. His mother went into a series of troubles with stallions, marrying twice and divorcing twice after her first husband, and eventually was out of a job and did the only thing she could do: send Cordial to other relatives in Appaloosa to take care of him.<br /><br />Cordial's aunt and uncle weren't well off themselves, just better off than his mother. They managed to feed him, and his relationship with them is pleasant, but distant. When he was about fourteen in human years, he was forced to start working in the only places he could, needing money: factories*, mainly, and various low-paying, non-skilled jobs. Thus, Cordial never really managed to finish an education and can act like it too.<br /><br />In a factory devoted entirely to efficient cherry sorting*, Cordial was well-liked among his peers and liked them in return. The belt bringing in cherries got jammed by too many, and one of Cordial's fellows went to fix it, stepping onto the belt--however, it was cleared on the other end of the belt by another working pony, and his fellow began to move along the belt, very quickly, and was scared to move off*. Cordial tackled him off, and was burned badly by the furnace, managing to get out with his life and with two hooves needing amputation. <br /><br />Since then, he's grown a little more reserved and careful. He moved out from his aunt and uncle's home when he earned enough money, and currently lives on an apple farm, helping the owners buck down the apples. Changes depending on RP.
