Appearance: In adintion to the above image, Cosmo has a silver Katana straped to his back, under a black cloak laced with blue and carries the old symbol of his clan on it, only recolored blue, instead of the original red.

Personality: Loyal, protective, intelligent, and (as much as I hate to admit it...) cocky.<br />Alignment: Good (usually between neutral and chaotic), Cosmo will follow his own path. He will accept advice but he won't cause trouble but if he feels the importance of his work surpasses that of the law, he won't restrict himself to legality.

Backstory: Cosmo's parents were an assassin and a very gifted spell caster, who had been married in secret because his fathers was supposed to be the next leader of the assassin guild. Upon discovering them and killing Cosmo's father, his grandfather took him at a young age to join his clan and become an assassin. Cosmo trained with them until he was 8 when a strange unicorn approached him. Unsure how to react, Cosmo tried to flee and got the attention of the clan. A blue flash erupted from her horn, and the unicorn had rendered everyone in the area unconscious, including Cosmo. When woke up, Cosmo found himself in an ancient stone fort, abandoned long ago. His stomach rumbled, reminding him he'd been taken right before lunch and there was some fruit nearby for him to eat. "Enjoying yourself?" Cosmo jumped at the voice suddenly appearing beside him, and landed on the floor hard. When he got up, he was looking at a beautiful dark blue mare with a foggy light blue mane, hovering in the air and laughing at his reaction. The blue glow on her horn pulsed and he was picked up from the ground by telekinesis. "I don't expect you to remember me, but my named is Specter Shadowsynth. I'm your mother Cosmo, and from now on, I'll be raising you." Cosmo should've been more reluctant to simply trust her, but he was so fascinated by her magical abilities that his 8 year old mind didn't recognize the issue, not that his clan taught him to question anyone in authority. Specter began teaching him magic after noticing his appreciation for it. They quickly discovered he was limited to telekinesis and synthesis spells (condensing magical energy into physical objects for a short time), but as she put it, "Thats like being limited to being a god." Training those spells together deepened their bond and eventually, convinced he was cleansed of the brainwashing the clan had raised him with, Specter taught Cosmo how to use his fathers old sword as a swordmage rather than an assassin. On his 18th birthday Cosmo was running errand in a nearby town and heard about a noblemare looking to hire someone to clear monsters out of a dangerously close cave. Eager to put his skills to use, Cosmo brought it up to his mother who beamed with pride at the idea of him fighting to save people. Despite his inexperience the noblemare let him go and was amazed by the speed at which he cleared the caves out. Over the next year, Cosmo took on more and more of these bounties, and with each success, convincing his mother that he should travel the world as an adventurer, fighting monsters and criminals all over Equestria. On his 19th birthday Specter gave Cosmo a cloak and urged him to go out as an adventurer, helping all over Equestria and possibly beyond. Eager to see the world, Cosmo said his goodbyes and left his home to begin his adventures. On one quest, Cosmo met (and if she's in the RP, fell in love with) Selythria Moonshade, a priestess for the Lunar Church who worshiped the night itself. She converted Cosmo to the church and he now carries it's symbol at all time in an enchanted amulet. <br />Cosmo now travels Equestria going on various adventures with the general goal of furthering his own powers so he may be strong enough to help anyone he meets in his travels.
