Personality: In public, Kandyl carries herself as a high-society, prim and proper young lady. She'll often be seen strutting around, making sure ponies know how highly she keeps herself. She demands respect, and gets rather testy when she doesn't receive it.<br /><br />She also has a rather foal-like energy beneath it when she gets excited, getting rather giddy and smiley when she has a great idea or is on the verge of getting what she wants.<br /><br />And even further beneath, there is a silver-tongued, flirtatious side that her family line is known for. She can talk almost anypony into giving her what she wants.

Backstory: Kandyl is the latest of the Akeldama Clan, a centuries-long line of vampire ponies. Her family has resided in the castle on top of a tall cliff overlooking a small village in Trotsylvania for thousands of years.<br /><br />Naturally, the villagers are fearful of her and any of her staff, and avoid as much contact with them as possible. This of course frustrates the egotistical young countess to no end, as she wants to feed her ego as much as possible.<br /><br />This leaves her venturing out, always flanked by her butler and voice of reason, Night Chill, to find adventures and means of entertaining herself across Equestria.
