Personality: Dawn is usually quiet and reserved.<br />Dawn is a very talented dancer.<br />She has a very special gift where she receives the feelings and emotions from ponies within a certain range from her.<br />She is kind, generous and tries to do the right thing.<br />But Dawn rarely ever listens to advice, and usually does what she pleases.

Backstory: When Dawn was younger, her parents moved to Canterlot, hoping she would find her cutie mark there. They entered her into a school for finding and teaching talents.<br />Dawn soon found she was a talented dancer and learned dance at the school. She met Chamois Vine, a wonderful artist, at the school as well. But they never really hit it off.<br />One day, without listening to her parents advice, Dawn left home without permission and went exploring.<br />Dawn found a reasonably sized forest. She leaped at the opportunity to explore in such a place and ventured inside.<br />She went around for a long time, not realizing the change that had suddenly occurred in her mind.<br />A magical force had seen her. It saw something in her, something beautiful and entered her, giving her a gift that was rare and powerful.<br />Of course, when Dawn went home and found herself feelings emotions of others, she was completely horrified.<br />At first, she tried to go along with it. She told her parents and proved to them by telling them things impossible for her to know without such a gift.<br />But she wasn't enjoying it. Especially not at school. The emotions some ponies felt were too horrible to bare. And she could never see which were her own emotions and which weren't.<br />Dawn had to quit school. Her parents secretly began putting medication into her food and drinks.<br />Dawn noticed, but she ignored it. It would be better if it would go away.<br />But it never did.<br />Not liking the emotions tumbling through her, she ran to the same forest everyday. She danced through the trees, finding it better to be alone with her own feelings rather then with others.<br />But it was awfully lonely.
