• Dawnpath

    Octavia's Bow

    • Age: 15

      Gender: Male

      Species: Pegasus

Cutie Mark: His cutie mark is a quill writing on paper, to symbolize his writing talent. More specifically focused on poetry; he does writes short stories from time to time, but rhymes flow out from under his hooves.

Personality: He is kind of a cameleon. He will change depending on who he's with and the situation. For his friends, he is dependable, loyal, and a tad lazy. For his enemies he is sneaky, mistrustful, and tenacious.

Backstory: Dawnpath came from a middle class family. Expectations for him where set high, because his father was a teacher. His parents, while devorced, both loved him very much. His mother was the kind, compassionate figure that he turned to for advice. His father was a strong, disiplinary force, not to be disobayed or talked back to. He lived with his father after the devorce. As time went on, the 'strong disiplinary force' developed a softer, more understanding side that Dawnpath found harder to deal with. It caught him in his blind-side. He grew close to his mother and his father seemed to push him farther and farther away. But, his father taught him his most important lessons; loyalty, a sense of self, and the power of music. He started on a violin, quickly shifting to a cello, then juggling trombone, cello, singing, and electric bass. He wasn't the best flyer, or the strongest hoofed, but he could enchant an audience of hundreds with a solo, an esemble, or both.

As he grew older, he began to write more and more, as his feelings of frustration towards his recently remarried father, and stepmother began to make him feel more and more rejected. It was a relief when he finally got out into the world and explore. He flew around, searching for inspiration, which he eventually found in Ponyville.
