Appearance: Decisive is a little taller and more slender than the average pony. His mane and tail are stylized by him in such a way that it almost resembles an unkempt look, but it was really a result of a little daily effort in the mornings by him. He decided to keep the flair in his hair after receiving a few compliments from a couple friends. His hair colour seems to range across a few blues from electric blue and cyan to more of a royal blue at times. It seems to depend entirely on the lighting as to how much his mane and tail shine.

Cutie Mark: The focal point of his cutie mark is the knight chess piece; to represent his tact for strategy, logic and prudent decisions. While the iron cross behind it ties the logic together with a more military and historical focus. (more specifically that of Germanic history)

Personality: Decisive is a rather reserved and quiet pony. Only speaking when he has something to say when in a group environment, but opens up more when in private with someone he trusts. He tends to approach dilemmas with a nearly entirely neutral outlook and can appear a bit cold on the outside as he does so - omitting emotions from the equation when dealing with a serious, calculating issue. He is a relatively happy pony, with his primary issue in life being his anxiety - his head is often filled with self-doubt and expects the worst from both situations and other ponies. Despite these social shortcomings, he doesn't allow others to detect it and keeps a straight-spined demeanor as much as possible. Once his trust is gained, he will open up much more to personal friends and almost seem like an entirely different pony when compared to his public attitude.

Backstory: Decisive was born and raised in a fairly wealthy district of Canterlot and had a relatively awkward and solitary childhood. Most attempts to make friends as a young colt ended in an awkward fashion and most of his time would be spent at home with his books and parents. With his father stationed nearby as a Royal Guard, his interests naturally leaned towards militaristic historical studies. Due to his sheltered nature, he never sought to do many adventurous things as a colt until his father mentioned the existence of a cadet program for Celestia's finest. Having joined the program at an older age, he only felt more out of place and uncomfortable, acing every task assigned to him. He left shortly before he aged out of the program and shelved his desire to serve the Royalty for the time being. Thanks to his father's connections, he's recently managed to move into the upper floor of a residence owned by a family friend around the same age as himself. This home isn't too far from his parents and is also just down a block from the Museum of Equestria's Total War. His father has told stories of his aptitude in stretegic simulator games and military history and has pondered the thought of hiring his son as something of a tactician for his division with his superiors.
