Appearance: Delphia has a light silvery coat, and bright teal eyes. Her mane and tail are long and mostly straight, a dark gray with streaks of light blue. She's a bit slender, and occasionally she loves to wear a cape. Around her neck she carries an ornate golden key on a black cord.
Cutie Mark: A black key, representing mystery and answers.
Personality: Delphia is humble and polite, but not a push over. All kinds of ponies will be accepted by her though she will appear far away at first.

She has a lovely soft voice, but has seen some dark things that have hardened her outlook in her line of work. They've made her a very strong pony so at times she will seem skeptical and cold. She can be very emotionally distant, getting to her core isn't very easy, though she will give you the benefit of the doubt due to her manners. Still, she has a very big heart.

Delphia has a slight speech impediment, stuttering when excitable and pausing during a sentence- it makes her appear to be even more shy at times.

You wouldn't think so because of her nature, but she's as nice and intelligent as she is paranoid and calculating. Sweet and smart, but also stealthy and observant. Though she is hard working, she's not always correct due to being so rash in wanting to find an answer. Internally this pony is a beautiful overthinker, but it's a part of her genius.

Her humor is a bit dry and odd.
She has a knack for finding silliness in anything, and finding joy in simple things. Delphia lives for the Adventure.
Backstory: Delphia Dearly grew up with her mother in an eccentric cabin outside of Las Pegasus. Her mother loved trading, selling, travel and little treasures. Delphia had quite a talent for collecting keys and capes. It was a cultured, adventurous way of life that taught her a lot. Setting up shop, meeting ponies from all backgrounds, occasional late night trips to look at treasures from sneaky ponies. Her and her mother would find joy in their many trinkets.

Delphia was an intelligent filly, but it was hard for her to keep friends in her school. She didn't speak as much due to her speech impediment, and her cutie mark came a bit late- she bore the brunt of a little bullying in school. She thought of the foals she met while travelling as her friends instead. She spent her free time then reading, observing, or playing a simple game during a playdate- when not with her mother she was usually alone. With some therapy and confidence she overcame her speech issues, and now only stops to pause during a sentence or repeat sounds. Speaking soft and slowly helps her. She became a little more social. Seeing different places and creatures made Delphia very humble to every ponies differences, even her own.

She looked forward to her and her mom's next festival or auction. Learning about different things would inspire her to investigate more about their whereabouts. She would become consumed with curiosity, but was always rewarded with an answer. Delphia loved helping, and her mother's friends would send her on silly quests to keep her occupied during events. They were always supportive, even if it took days. She loved the quests so much as a child that she never grew out of it.

She works as a detective/mystery-solver for-hire to individuals, not usually for the law, though that's not all she limits herself to. Delphia often still goes on relic hunts, learning more and more about Equestria. She's fought off a monster or two- found long lost relatives of lonely ponies- reported thieves. She dabbles in all kinds of things, and at the moment is learning more combat skills for more dangerous problems that might need solving. Delphia and her mother still live in their cabin, but she usually stays where her work is. In her free time she might be catching up with an old friend or possibly engaged in one of her ever changing hobbies.
