Appearance: Derplight has as light green body with purple wings and tail. His eyes are red, derpy eyes. He also has a small horn.

Personality: Derplight is clueless to the world around him. His lack of experience outside the hive leads to many problems understanding the culture of ponies. His only excursion from the hive was an invasion so that didn't give a positive or good look into pony culture. <br /><br />Derplight likes to get a good laugh from others. Other changelings and ponies get a laugh from his actions. The crossed eyes and mimicking others is makes Derplight unique and others love to see themselves with the look.

Backstory: Born into the Changeling Swarm sometime ago, Derplight never really fit in. There was a major accident in the hive when a large rock fell on his head, forever ruining his eyes. It was forever crossed, even if he transformed into another form. This made him a terrible infiltrator. <br /><br />Derplight was present in the Canterlot Wedding invasion, but didn't end up hurting anyone. His eyesight made him terrible at fighting, he was more interested in watching from afar. There he saw his fellow Changelings fighting off a group of ponies. The pink one interested him the most, seeing her silly antics with cannons and confetti made him want to take part. He put it aside as the Changelings were sent away from Canterlot.<br /><br />The hive never felt the same to Derplight after Canterlot. He had the nagging feeling that he could do something else than just terrorize ponies. He was never sent out into the world because of his eye issues, so he got bored watching captives of various Changeling raids. Life got tedious and his feelings from Canterlot came back. Could Changelings do something fun besides abducting ponies?<br /><br />Thorax soon assumed the throne from Chrysalis and Derplight took on his current form. Now he goes out and interacts with the ponies he watched in the various dungeons. He still searches for that pink one he saw a long time ago...<br /><br />Derplight, in his searches, found the best couch in Equestria. He brings it everywhere he goes and is fiercely protective of it. Mainly due to the fact that everypony that sees it has the compulsion to take it since it is the best couch. He must protect it from all that see his couch for if he doesn't, somepony may take it away from him.
