Personality: He is neutral to anything and he only takes a side if it would benefit him in the end or he agreed with the cause

Backstory: Derpy was raised in Canterlot his parents were socialites but Derpy was always wanted to be a normal pony he didn't want to be somepony who everypony knew and wanted to know but his parents wouldn't ever allow him to be anything except for a socialite like them so he endured their lessons of Formalities and of Etiquette and then one day his Uncle from Cloudsdale wanted him to stay at his house for a week and he learned from watching the Pegasus flying around taught him that he could do what he actually wanted to be a Writer instead of just being told of what to be when he was older when he told his parents of this they got angry at him and kicked him so his Uncle took him in and trained him to fly because he wasn't that great of a flyer compared to the other ponies he became a great flyer under his uncles instruction.<br />
