Personality: Distant.<br />Bound to a "loose" moral code. Not many really know what to expect from her. Often lost in thought, or spaced out in some way. She sometimes mentions random occurrences or states something that someone in the room might currently be thinking. A bit of a no-nonsense attitude; not very humorous. She's the kind of pony that would rather quietly enjoy something in silence. Even though she's not one to participate in more light-hearted conversations, she truly does care, and would prefer the peaceful times to last longer, if only so her friends aren't stressed. But as a Doomsayer, Desdemona is often plagued by confusing, unpleasant dreams, so much so that her outwardly somber disposition has become something most ponies are used to by now.

Backstory: As the youngest of The Origin, Desdemona's backstory is shorter.<br />Born in the southern countryside of Equestria, Dess grew up in a small town with an even smaller population. Everypony was very close to one another and very, very superstitious. They were very strict in their rules against anything having to do with the supernatural and arcane. However, this made Dess curious. Why were they so afraid? One night, at the age of 9, while at a birthday slumber party with her friends, she and a few others snuck out to the old, run down church. She refuses to tell anyone what happened inside that night ((though, when Siobhan met her, it wasn't hard to guess)). Her four friends mysteriously disappeared that night, and are still missing to this day. When Dess was found far outside city limits the next morning, she was blind and talked nonsense. Her village, frightened of what this could possibly mean, sent her away. It was in a hospital for the mentally unstable that her powers as a seer first manifested. As she grew, she developed the ability to predict negative outcomes, solidifying her fate as a Seer.<br />It was Siobhan who recruited her. Desdemona's Astral Eye is the strongest out of The Origin; and though she is blind, she could immediately tell that Siobhan was there. At the age of 15, she became the third pony ever to join the Lucerna.<br />During her time in the order, and during the Sota Peilin, Dess served as the Doomsayer. She was the one to speak the prophesy of the coming war in the first place. As she was a part of the Inner Circle, she was trusted with more than a few dangerous secrets. Of course, being a Doomsayer made her privy to a lot of awful things. She saw what was to happen in the coming centuries; forces of darkness so powerful, not even gods could defeat them, a Presence lurking in the shadows of the Crystal Empire, an atrocious experiment, a deadly secret, the fall of the Elements, the death of the Royal Sisters, and so much more...<br />By the time Siobhan and Darkessie disappeared, after the war, Desdemona, the rest of the Origin, and the Remnants, left the Celatum and went into hiding.<br />They remain hidden to this day...
