Cutie Mark: <p> Her cutie mark is three different gemstones. These signify she is pure of heart, kind, and generous. The biggest gem, a diamond, shows her kindness and how brightly her soul and personality shine, as well as her ability to inspire other ponies. The second, an amethyst, shows her quiet determination, perseverance, and strength, even in the hardest and most difficult of times. The third, a pearl, shows her rarity, originality, and unique qualities, and her ability to connect with ponies.  </p>

Personality: <p> She is kind, loving, and gentle, and treats everypony with respect and care. She loves everything, especially animals, meeting new ponies, helping someone to make something, and healing emotional wounds. She is good to everypony, helping them through hard times, and sharing their joy in good times. She loves whatever you want to do, as long as you do it together. She can be just as avid about singing in a choir to building a skyscraper. But she becomes very depressed when left alone, and she won’t eat or sleep. She has trouble coming up with things to do when there are no ponies to play with. She is also rather childish in nature, but can be very mature. Her depression can be serious if it lasts. She also has wisdom that belies her form and age, and one may always find peace of mind when visiting her. A habit of hers is to set out tea for visitors, who seemingly never stop coming.  </p>

Backstory: <p> She was born under the light of what Crystal pony soothsayers call a “tender moon” where the moon bathes everything in a soft but potent light, as if day had come again already. The old diviner in the village saw much harmony in the future of Diamond Step, and she was right. Diamond Step, from the moment she could walk and talk, was the joy of everybody. She knew tricks and games, could give advice, and loved friendship. When King Sombra took over the Crystal Empire, she helped keep spirits up and gave many ponies the energy to keep going until they could be rescued. After the awful reign of Sombra, instead of being saddened, she only became more empathetic and caring towards others. She never let her inner light die, not even once, after all of the pain and sadness she and the other citizens had been through. Eventually, she traveled the world, meeting ponies from all over, before finally settling in Manehattan.  </p>
