• Dice

    Widdershins
    • Age: 32

      Gender: Male

      Species: Non-Pony

      Appearance:
Species: Storm Creature.

Dice is some nine feet tall and hulking even by the standards of the white-furred primate-like, bipedal yetis of his species of Storm Creatures. While dark grey of skin, cloven of hoof and a flat face somewhere in the middle of the large body between their huge, hunched shoulders, Dice is bigger yet. It's rather quickly apparent that size, strength & girth are cherished attributes in their species. Dice's fur is a bit patchier then most, but long in what places it is, typically on the top of his shoulders, arms and back. Like most of his species, most of Dice is put into his top-heavy frame of heavily muscled arms, each of his four-fingered hands can easily palm a full-grown stallion if need be.

In fact, because of his exaggerated features Dice pretty much sticks out like a chunk of obsidian on a white sand beach of any place he happens to be. He's often mistaken as a boulder when he's idly sitting down by the sides of roads. That's not too far off a guess either.

      Cutie Mark:
His species doesn't get any, but its pretty clear what it would be if that happened.

      Personality:
Over a life's worth of training for it, Dice is pretty much the perfect toadie, thug, muscle, meatloaf, pigeon, stooge, chump and all around evil Lackey. If his mental status were to be summarily encapsulated into one phrase that phrase would be: "Extra Thick."

Dice is extraordinarily dim-witted and extremely suggestible. Dice loves helping out the best way he knows how, but is always surprised when ponies DON'T want him to throttle somepony else. From a lifetime of taking orders and pretty much outright refusal to think for himself, Dice automatically obeys the last command given to him. Many times his victims have sent him back after the first pony to send him after them as a last ditch effort to ward him off (something very easily done, mind you.) and wind up putting Dice into a blithely content loop of halting his punches before getting immediately sent back to the exact same loop. If you were to order Dice to beat himself unconscious with his own fists, he'd do so with a cheery nod!

Dice catches on very slowly to knew ideas, especially that of existing peacefully in a non-warring society. His answer to almost everything tends to be his fists & violence, but he sees nothing immoral at all about it. Despite how proudly he proclaims his being good at "Deading" things, its pretty obvious Dice may not actually be aware what beating things to a pulp means in the long run. Long as Dice can make others happy, no matter what they ask of him, he's happy too.

      Backstory:
Storm Creatures aren't bright. Not stupid, just... well, they have no written language or culture of their own simply because they've just never really seen any reason to. Instead, they spend most of their lives standing around their bleak, cold, stormy home, commenting on the weather, until one of them is born with some ambition then spend the next few decades waging constant war.*

Dice, like most of his species, was content and resigned as nothing more than a mindless goon under the Storm King. Sure, he was manipulative & extremely temperamental, but he wasn't all that bad. The Funny Hat parties were fun. But all through Dices's life, friendship took an unworded backseat to blind obedience. Dice has never known a day in his life were he needed to think any deeper then the last order barked at him. He may not have been the sharpest weapon in the army, but he knew his place. Wherever he was pointed at.

Now, with the Storm King "taken care of" Dice is without a Boss to do his thinking for him. Luckily, wandering aimlessly around Equestria and obeying literally anything sentient he comes across doesn't require much of Dice's brain power.
