Cutie Mark: the cutie mark is the head of a dragon. this mostly means he's good at working with dragons and doing research on them. in a more wide sense, he's good at working with wild animals. though his specialization lies with dragons.

Personality: Dragonfire has a quite normal personality. he's usually in a good mood and likes looking at the bright side of things. even if he knows there isn't exactly a bright side. Dragonfire can stay quite calm, and he rarely rises into anger/despair or any other extreme feelings. he tries to keep a cool head over each situation and manages to do so in most circumstances. but once he loses that control he has a hard time keeping things together. by this i simply mean he has a breaking points where he loses his calm and collected manner of composing thoughts and ideas.<br /><br />Dragonfire is not a leader in any way, but will take the lead if nopony else will. he enjoys helping others but might turn to be a bit selfish sometimes. thinking about his own needs and desires rather than those of another. <br /><br />he can be quite good at talking with ponies, he has a relaxing voice which can set most people at ease. therefor he's rather good at comforting others. when insulted or hurt -as mentioned before- he'd stay calm and collected. which doesn't mean it doesn't hurt him on the inside. most feelings he has are kept on the inside.<br /><br />a final thing to mention is that Dragonfire isn't exactly all that heroic, in fact most of the time he's afraid of any dangerous type of situation. but with enough adrinaline he get's through it. after getting past his barier of fear, Dragonfire is capable of some reckless things (which isn't always a good thing)

Backstory: Dragonfire grew up in manehattan with his mother and father. he was the only child in their familly. Dragonfire soon developed an interest in dragons. upon watching a dragon migration he had found a dragon hatchling that had lost it's way. and was unable to get back to his group the dragon was taken in by dragonfire. something his parents really did not a approve of. this dragon became his companion, and it grew up alongside him. thanks to him he learned to cooperate with dragons (that were aproachable), which in turn got him his cutie mark.<br />he graduated in the study of foreign animals.soon after he went out to do field research on dragons.
