Appearance: Drop forge has a slightly scruffy Light Grey coat with a jet black short Mane.<br /><br />He has a very strong appearance due to his years working with many different metals, forging them into useful bits of gear and such.

Cutie Mark: Has an Anvil and Hammer as his Cutie Mark.<br /><br />This symbolises his job as an Engineer and Blacksmith/Metalsmith

Personality: Drop Forge is quiet and holds himself in a strong demeanor, yet when he really gets to know somepony he becomes quite open with them about his life.<br /><br />He loves to make new tools and other such gadgets and enjoys his many hours in front of an anvil.<br /><br />While he knows he is quite strong, he does his best to avoid fighting due to his ALMOST pacifistic nature, but will do anything to protect his friends.

Backstory: Drop Forge was born and raised just outside of Canterlot where his father, Spark, brought him up on his own.<br /><br />Very early in his life, Drop Forge started to learn the basics of Forging from his father and knew from early on that this is what he loved.<br /><br />Shortly after he became a teenager, his Father came down with a strange illness, which forced Drop Forge to start working in his Fathers Forge himself to earn bits to pay for his fathers hospital bills.<br /><br />This in turn caused Drop Forge to grow up faster then most ponies his age, having to take care of his father and work hard each day.<br /><br />Shortly before he entered highschool he earned his Cutie Mark after forging a special Gear required to Turn the great Canterlot Tower Clock. This certain project earned him and his Father many bits from the Royal Town Planner, which he immediately used on his Father.<br /><br />Unfortunately, on his next Birthday, Spark died in hospital leaving Drop Forge alone to fend for himself. Being without a mother, he was obviously required to leave to an orphanage until he was old enough to gain possession of his father’s home and forge.<br /><br />But Drop Forge refused to leave their home for an orphanage and began full time work at the forge.<br /><br />The many time's city Guards would come to take him to an Orphanage, he would fight back and hide until they would leave and let him resume his work. Eventually they gave up and let him continue his meager existence on his own.<br /><br />He lived by crafting tools for nearby workers, being known for his quality of work, and as time went on he became fairly strong and generally large, giving him quite an appearance, big, strong , dark and quiet.<br /><br />He has spent many years since then, crafting and making everything from Tools and gears to creating works of art for Canterlot Castle itself.<br />And although he earns a fair amount of bits, he prefers to live outside of Canterlot itself and to remain in his Fathers home.<br /><br />when Drop Forge became an adult, he left on the first long trip from his home since he was very young. He headed to a far off town to the west of Canterlot to meet his Aunt who he had only seen once before when he was much younger.<br /><br />His Aunt, Cider Scratch had contacted him after only just hearing of her brother’s death and wanted to hear as to why she never got told.<br /><br />Drop Forge spent many days there enjoying his Aunts company, explaining to her that he had too much on his mind at the time, and completely forgot about the rest of his family. While he enjoyed his time at his Aunts, he still felt the need to isolate himself from the outside, only rarely writing letters to some of his relatives.<br /><br />After he returned to his home, he didn't leave for over many years until he decided he needed to take more breaks if he was to continue working...in Fear that he may strain something if he kept pushing himself which could take a toll on his job and livelihood.<br /><br />So to this day he works from his home, crafting many items, from tools to jewellery. Drop Forge is skilled with all metals and loves his job, and thus he sees no need for change.<br />
