Personality: Dusk is very shy, he often spends his time reading or walking with Vi. HIs best friend in the world. He doesn't trust easily and the worst thing to him is someone leaving him. He will often be in his shell and come out only for those he trusts.

Backstory: Dusk was born in a small town in a forest. It was inhabited by pegasus, who got to different places by flying around. Dusk was often found up in the trees soaring around looking at the beautiful skies. He enjoyed skimming around the tree tops meeting all the creatures and just generally hanging out. However one day a group of griffons saw him befriend a fox. The fox was so small it was almost like a squirrel. Dusk had befriended it, but the griffons had been hating that fox due to its ability to escape them. They often tormented it when they could, but the fox always seemed to get away. The griffons descended upon Dusk, and drove him to the ground leaving him scared. Since then he has been scared to take flight, and is often afraid of others. Once you get to know him he is incredibly loyal, and will never give up on you. Through out his years, he was always shy, which led to many ponies bullying him, he thought about suicide many a time, but his friend Vi get him going. Vi was the fox he had befriended in the woods one day, and since then she had never left his side. When away from Vi for more than about 15 seconds Dusk becomes very nervous and deathly scared of everything and everypony. Now he enjoys reading with Vi, she is his own personal librarian finding him all sorts of books he would love. They have never been separated. However one time they were separated for a day. A bully had taken Vi away from Dusk as a prank. Dusk thought Vi had left him and attempted suicide. He was found and saved, and Vi was returned to him. He has a small scar on his neck from this and often looks at it to remind himself, others won't just leave him. This incident was good for Dusk in the long haul allowing him to slightly trust other ponies. However he despises anyone who is mean to other. His troubled childhood has led him to become almost a turtle, constantly in his shell.
