Appearance: Flarelight the male Unicorn suffers from very little differing aspects of physique compared to others of his race. His muscular structure is lightly more defined than the average Unicorn, perhaps due to the large amount of physical work he does compared to the more "refined," members of Unicorn society.<br /><br />His mane adopts the colour of a dark grey, contrasting his light grey coat perfectly, even if it only adds to his honestly rather dull colour. His eyes have rebelled against the boring colour of his body and adopt a very light blue with a spark of mischievous but not malicious intent. <br /><br />As for his actual posture and mental rather than genetic appearance, one can never really tell what Flarelight's "norm," is. He is always changing poses and postures depending on the situation, likely reflecting his stage-like mindset in physical movement. No matter his pose however, someone with a keen sense of judging other people could quickly notice a slight mischievous nature from his mere movements.

Cutie Mark: Like the ever contrasting nature of both his magic and movement, Flarelight's Cutie Mark represents a fluid trio of circular wisps of contrasting colour.<br /><br />His Cutie Mark almost represents Chaos only to the lesser degree of confusion, which perfectly describes his illusive and often quite strange nature. In statistical terms it reveals Flarelight's talent for confusing and manipulating others, only with the manipulation focusing more on confusion rather than control. His talent is reflected through his almost impossible to read personality as well as his affinity for magic which may be used to confound and confuse.

Backstory: Flarelight, like a suspiciously large amount of Unicorns was born and raised in Canterlot city as the second and youngest child to a Pegasus Mother and Unicorn Father. Of course as he was a Unicorn he was given a very different education compared to his Pegasus sibling, as like most Unicorn colts he was educated in Magic Kindergarten at a young age.<br /><br />Despite only being slightly talented in the application of magic, his talent allowed him to learn and demonstrate the basic spells such as light manifestation with absolute ease, sealing his place in Canterlot's School for Gifted Unicorns.<br /><br />With both an excellent education and a loving family in his life Flarelight could find almost nothing to complain at, save maybe how quickly he was going through the topics only to learn them again in class for the benefit of others.<br /><br />After graduating in both magic Flarelight felt disappointed, surely there was more to learn about the mysteries of the world than in the few years he spent in school, especially things that they didn't want people to learn.<br /><br />Receiving his Cutie Mark particularly late in life, Flarelight realised that he had a knack for confusing or otherwise subtly manipulating ponies with magic and personality. Although never one for being malicious he realised that one of the fastest ways to get what he wanted was to get around those that might stand in his way.<br /><br />With this newfound talent in hand Flarelight became a collector of sorts, stories, knowledge, valuable things were all fair game for this pony. He has been collecting under the guise as a travelling magical entertainer for years now, picking up a bunch of real world skills that education couldn't teach along the way.
