Appearance: Quantum is purple with a straight brown mane. It is medium-length. Her eyes are dark purple. She is slightly shorter than the majority of ponies.

Cutie Mark: Quantum's cutie mark is the Tree of Knowledge, representing her interest in all branches of science. She got it when she realized that what she wanted to do with her life was become a scientist.

Personality: She is well-spoken and intelligent. However, when she is around ponies she knows, Quantum can be quite fun and energetic. She spends most of her time in Twilight Sparkle's Athenaeum.

Backstory: Quantum lived in Stable 47 before making the long journey to Tempony Tower to gain citizenship. She knew this was one of the only places she could fulfill her wishes and become a scientist. She made the majority of the journey herself, and put a lot of time into learning a spell to give you temporary butterfly wings. Once she way completely sure that she had learned the spell well, she cast it to get over dangerous territory more easily. It took her a long time to learn it, as magic was not her special talent. Eventually she arrived at Tempony Tower, and it took three years to gain citizenship. After her paperwork had gone through she got a job as analyzer of mutated DNA from radiation and Taint.
