Appearance: Cerulean coat with a lapis and silver mane/tail… both of which are slicked back and seem hardened, like ice.

Cutie Mark: A golden snowflake, surrounded by silver wisps of light.<br /><br />His talent is control over the cold, his wings able to create icy gusts of wind… but the snowflake is gold, signifying his hope for the future, and his innate goodness.

Personality: Frost Bite is the black sheep as it were. His entire family are aligned with darkness and cruelty. They pride themselves on misdeeds and violence.<br />But not Frost Bite. He never felt he fit into his family, it hurt to see them do harm to other ponies and animals in the cities and wilds, where they frequently dwelled.<br />It wasn't until he got his cutie mark that he realised why. He was the ray of light in the blackest of hearts.

Backstory: Born to the Frost family, a lineage of malice dating back generations, Frost Bite was to be the heir apparent. His mother Iceus (pronounced Isis) had had such high hopes for him. His father, Jack Frost, trained him from infancy to use his weather talent for evil. Or that was their intention. <br /><br />Since even before his birth, the Frosts were wanderers, moving from place to place and causing mischief and mayhem anywhere they went. Frost Bite didn't approve, or enjoy their constant travels and troublemaking. He never got to make friends… it lead to quite a lonely life.<br /><br /> The day after Frost Bite gained his cutie mark, his little sister, Frost Nip was born. And the Frost family couldn't be happier. Jack Frost even arranged a hunt in honour of the wonderful news. <br /><br />His parents assumed his cutie mark was gold to symbolise wealth and greed, a trait they revered above all but violence.<br /><br />As he grew, however, his parents realised just how wrong they were. And how different he was.<br /><br />By the time he was a teen, Nip was getting her own cutie mark, a silver dagger plunged into red-stained snow. Nip took every opportunity to show Bite just how to be a proper Frost. She would torment him… she even killed any pet he tried to keep.<br /><br />By his sixteenth birthday, Bite had had enough, and fled. Their nomadic wanderings brought them to the Everfree Forest. He took the opportunity to escape to Ponyville, mere days before his errant family made their arrival.<br /><br />He sided with the townsfolk against his own family, finally finding a proper home and proper friends among the Ponyville patrons.
