• Fuselage

    Anneal
    • Age: 26

      Gender: Female

      Species: Pegasus

Appearance: Eye color: Pale green. (#98FB98)

Coat: Copper rose. (#996666)

Mane/Tail: Midori. (#E3F988) Her hair is spiky and goes back, and hangs a bit on the front. She is usually wearing a loose officer hat. Her tail is moderately long and wavy.

Cutie Mark: An turning propeller, signifying her talent with aerodynamics. (Though ironically, she's not that great on her flying.)

Personality: Fuselage is a very reliable pony; she gets the jobs done and gets it done quick. She is never at fault when works needs to be done, and she doesn't meddle with petty issues.

She is seen also as authoritative, though also unaggressive; Fuselage treats her own comrades almost as if they were her secondary family.

Despite being a lieutenant (soon to be captain of Company G), she is barely seen as the "military work" kind of officer. Fuselage is always occupied; if she isn't checking the cannons or giving work to the lower ranked soldiers, she's cleaning her revolver or building stuff in her workshop. In conclusion, Fuselage is a pragmatic and imaginative soul.

She does, however, has her flaws. Fuselage is easily pressured, and also overprotective. Her fairness sometimes makes her unaware when a pony is cheating her off. She easily trusts other ponies, which usually leads to terrible results or herself getting affected.

Backstory: Fuselage was born in Midway, a town located west of Canterlot. Her father was a hydroelectric power plant worker. She has two siblings: One younger brother and one (even) younger daughter.

Her talent was actually implied to be related to physics, mechanics, and dynamics when she was young; Fuselage loved to see how everything worked ; she disassembled and recreated small machinery that was capable of flying like pegasi in midair.

She had gained her cutie mark when she had created "fake" wings. Fuselage spent months studying heavier-than-air aircraft so she could create what she thought was a "life-changing invention". (Artificial wings, however, has actually been built years before she got her cutie mark.) Eventually, she put her "invention" to the test. She got an earth pony to volunteer to use her created wings (for science), and made him gallop and jump off the playground tower.

The thing worked, though not in the way she intended. Fuselage thought she could make non-pegasi fly with her creation, though it only served to shortly glide before landing. Nonetheless, everypony was excited when her cutie mark appeared on her flank.

Soon after, Fuselage became a well-known pony in her schools; she had enrolled herself in the Science Fair multiple times, and there was one time where she actually got nominated for the regional Science Fair. She later graduated from the Equestrian Institute of Engineering.

After she graduated, however, she didn't start her occupation as an aircraft engineer; instead, she enlisted for the Royal Equestrian Army. Though her talent had nothing to do with the military, Fuselage had actually dreamed of joining the army since she was young, even saying how "awesome" everything was in there.

Of course, she had to go through grueling training for 14 weeks, and that was just the basic training. After that, she went through "advanced training" for 23 weeks until she officially became a private. (Though she was later promoted to Private First Class two months later.)

She decided to go into officer training; she was commissioned ten weeks later, becoming second lieutenant at 23. She was later promoted to first lieutenant at 25.

Throughout the years she was moved from fort to fort, until she finally settled down at Fort Windstill into the 7th Division, 83rd Regiment.
