Appearance: His height is around the same as Big Macintosh, his mane and tail are a dark brown and his coat is a dark shade of blue and he often wears goggles; as to not get anything in his eyes. Speaking of eyes, Gear's eyes are an orange-ish yellow. He has a muscular build as well.

Cutie Mark: Two different sized gears grinding against each other, meaning he is your man if you have any problems with gears of Steampunk styled aircraft, or any gears for that matter.

Personality: Gear Grinder is a very cheery stallion, yet he is not hyperactive and is great for motivation and fixing anything wrong with gears and replaces them if needed. He cant exactly fix everything and he won't go anywhere near any type of thrust engine, to him their just too dangerous.

Backstory: Gear Grinder has been interested in mechanics ever since he was 12 and he pursued the dream to become a fixer of all things mechanical; sadly he only achieved being a pro at fixing gears and mechanical problems pertaining to hydraulics and even he's not good at that. At the age 21, Gear became known for his work on a sky ship known as 'The Carbon Maestro'; simply for his talents at keeping the ships crew motivated to work and also for preventing the ship from having a collateral meltdown, due to steam pressure rising at an unruly rate. His moderate time-span of fame wasn't known all over the skies, but it sure made ponies want him on their ship crews; as a result of this he has been on more than 13 ships over a course of 10 years until they eventually found somepony better, much to Mr.Grinders dismay. For now, at the age of 31 he is well known, well equipped and looking for adventure.
