It represents the protector and the guard of the night and she earned it while in an attempt to protect Princess Celestia from Nightmare Moon. Backstory: <p> Ginger Ale was born in the time when The Castle of The Two Sisters was the current house of the two princesses. She was named Ginger Ale because of her hair color and it was also her father's favorite drink. She was born in one of the darkest rooms of the castle while her parents were working as servants to Princess Luna. She grew up working with the guards and became an apprentice of one of the royal guards of Princess Luna.
