Cutie Mark: Flame with "Heatwave" coming out in a circular (not spherical) fashion.<br />He got it after performing his first sonic flameboom, and represents his ability to perform such.

Personality: A good, loyal friend if you can become his friend. What makes me say that? He's definitely socially awkward, near anti-social. He also moves around all of Equestria at his bidding, so he doesn't have a permanent residence to make too many friends in. He's compassionate, thinking of other ponies before himself. He'll generally always stop to help somepony in need.<br />Heatwave loves flying. He could probably keep up with Rainbow Dash and Lightning Dust in a race. He refuses to try out for the Wonderbolts though, because he has a slight "crush" on their captain, Spitfire, and is far too shy to see her every day. He also doesn't want to get caught in the popularity being a wonderbolt would bring.<br />Because of his flying poweress, he can pull off a Sonic Flameboom, although it takes some serious effort on his part. He practices and practices, yet it only seems to actually happen at the most crucial moments when it's absolutely needed. A sonic Flameboom is equivalent to a sonic rainboom, except the blast it sends may fry things it touches.<br />Even though he may be shy, Heatwave thrives on competitions, especially races. He will always give them everything he has. He loves the competitive side of life and can sometimes be a little sore if he loses.

Backstory: Heatwave was born in Cloudsdale. He grew up there most of his childhood, but got interested to see what lied beyond. He wanted to explore all of equestria. He was bullied in school all the way up to him leaving, because he was a blank flank. He was tired of being around this, so he packed up and left. He didn't get his cutie mark until about a year after he had left, when he saw some earth ponies skydiving as a part of "The Pegasus Experience" (A cheap cloudsdale tourist trap) and one of the parachutes failed to deploy for a certain pony. Heatwave rushed to save the pony. In doing so, he flew faster than he thought he could and performed what he thought was a Sonic Rainboom. Oh the joy! He actually preformed the sonic rainboom! Until he noticed the blast caught the other ponies parachutes on fire.<br />To make a long story short, no ponies were hurt in the making of this backstory. Heatwave and the tour guide pegasi saved everypony involved, then Heatwave, completely embarrassed, bolted. It is then his cutie mark appeared. It would serve as a reminder to him to make sure that there was nothing around to burn when he performed a Sonic Rainboom, because it wasn't an ordinary rainboom. He dubbed it the Sonic Flameboom, and decided to keep practicing. He never pulled it off again, except for the very few times where again he was rushing to help somepony somehow.<br />He now moves all over Equestria, living where he pleases, helping out occasionally, but keeping a low profile the whole while, scared of the limelight, probably due to his experiences in cloudsdale.<br />He is currently living in Ponyville.
