Appearance: His attire consists of an armoured cuiress and a leather cloak, which is topped by a harness to hold his ancestral axe.

Cutie Mark: His cutie mark is a shield with a crack running from the top down to the middle, with notches on the edges.<br />It represents his resilience and refusal to surrender in conflict.

Personality: Helvard was a dedicated warrior, and a natural leader. He was incredibly focused on the battlefield, and would protect anypony on his side.<br /><br />Outside of battle, he was incredibly friendly and civil, happy to welcome anypony's company.<br /><br />He will accept a fair defeat, but will not tolerate cheating or breaking the rules of battle. He also does not bully or underestimate any creature that challenges him, whether it be to a bout on the field of honour, or a drinking match in the tavern.

Backstory: About a thousand years ago, Helvard was born and raised in the wilderness of the Frozen North, in a small village known as Trotstheim. In his life, he had seen many battles and wars between rival clans, and was a hardened fighter.<br /><br />As well as being the heir to the chiefdom of Trotstheim, in his late twenties he became the leader of the village's militia. In his mid-thirties, he would go on to take his father's place as Chieftain, following his retirement.
