Cutie Mark: Hollow's cutie mark is a shimmering blue shield symbolizing his talent in defensive magic, he obtained his cutie mark when he stood up against a school bully to defend his friend back when he was just a young colt.<br />

Personality: His personality is like a coin, one side is kind, caring and trusting. The other is violent, sadistic, and scary. Most of the time, he is his normal, cheerful self... but when somepony threatens somebody he cares deeply about; the coin flips. In a sense, he has multiple personalities, and he is somewhat aware of this.

Backstory: Rough Backstory: Born in Canterlot but sent to the town of Ponyville at the young age of 6 due to his parents not wanting him to be brought up in the snobbish society that is in Canterlot. Because of this he never really knew his parents, and was forced to fend for himself in the streets of Ponyville. After a few days of wandering the streets he was taken in by the Mayor, who offered him shelter and a chance to make better of his life. A few years of schooling he finally gained his cutie mark, a shimmering blue shield; he gained this by using his knowledge in defensive magic he learned from many books in the local library to create a barrier around a friend that was being harassed by a group of bullies while in school. Years passed as he finally left the Ponyville school and got a job; which was performing 'odd jobs' for whomever needed assistance, whether it was being an assistant for a builder, or a gardener for whoever required one. All the odd jobs and contributions he did for the Ponyville community allowed the Mayor to give him a constant pay of 5 bits per job, it wasn't much, but it was enough as he already had shelter and food supplied by the Mayor herself. And due to his years of performing jobs for the Ponyville community, he eventually developed a wide variety of skills, as he practiced in many areas because his 'job' required him to know how to do many things; his main skills being solid magic (using his magic to create magical barriers and temporary walls and armor), repair work (smithing and just repairing items in general) and medical know-how. To this day, he often feels that he isn't living up to his special talent, and keeps a look-out for any opportunity he could take that could involve his special talent - defensive magic and protecting other ponies.
