Personality:

Ingoma is a optimistic but also pessimistic zebra. She tends to look on both extremes before judging what she should do in a situation. However, this can be a weakness as she sometimes says weird or dark things all with a gentle smile on her face. She has a tendency to drift in a daydream at random times. Ingoma a learns best from experience, and can judge a new situation calmly, panicking only when she realizes she can't escape from the danger. Ingoma can get very upset if she is bothered when she is making music, and occasionally accidentally kicks the person.

Ingoma was born in Zebrica to her parents, Idube and Jasiri. While she was growing up, she was taught by the village shaman, Mganga, basic zebra magic and potion brewing. Mganga taught her too always look at a problem from every angle, in both extremes. One day, a traveling singer and storyteller named Kuimba visited the village. Ingoma was amazed at Kuimba's music, and decided to learn to play the drum. However, every time she got close to playing the drums at the village, her sister, Kuruka, scared her. One day she decided to play again, however, she would have, her hooves ready to kick Kuruka. When Kuruka jumped out at Ingoma, she got that unpleasant feeling over getting kicked in the face. With Kuruka out of the way, Ingoma began to play the djembe drum, she knew this was her destiny, and her cutiemark appeared.

Not long after getting her cutie mark, she saw in the sky, a giant rainbow explosion coming from Equestria. Her parents and her family were amazed by it, and decided to move to Equestria. Thanks to an amazing wheat crop the following year, they could go with little problem. While on the boat to Equestria, she discovered the effects of seasickness, and was in bed for days. When she and her family arrived, they were amazed by ponies of Equestria, such as alicorns and pegasi. Ingoma missed her home in Zebrica and felt greatly homesick. At night she would toss and turn in her bed, unable to sleep. One night, she decided to try composing music. While her first few dozen times weren't that good, she slowly grew more talented at composition.

When Ingoma grew up, she decided to travel Equestria to learn new music and skills. She is still not that well known, due to her music being based off of what she grew up with in Zebrica. She also briefly took up dancing, but quickly learned that not everyone is good at everything. Ingoma gets her money from donations mainly. She still keeps in touch with her family as well, occasionally writing letters to them and visiting them once in a while.
