Appearance: Inkblot has aquamarine eyes, with a forest green mane and tail. His mane is curled, curving and part leftward, the back of it hanging downward in a straighter manner; his tail is of short length, only going halfway to his hooves.

Cutie Mark: His cutie mark is a Rorschach ink blot and a jigsaw puzzle. His talent is psychology (not to be confused with psychiatry, which is the diagnosis, study, and treatment of mental disorders; psychology is the scientific study of mental functions and behaviors; Inkblot takes occupations of both a psychologist and psychiatrist, however).

Personality: Strangely enough, Inkblot has Dissocative Identity Disorder, better known as split personality, which is a case almost rarely seen in males. This was most likely caused by his older brother's death from sickness, which resulted in Inkblot creating a whole new personality that contrasted his original one. <br /><br />His original personality is highly skeptic, logical, yet introvertive. As a psychologist, he doubts everything unless it can be scientifically proven correct and specifically observed; Inkblot doesn't believe in anything that is not. He thinks critically and usually focuses deeply onto subjects, and does not easily buy into information. His introvertive personality often keeps him inside his workplace, though when the time is needed, Inkblot will attempt to take the initiative. He is a realist, and is a cognitive psychologist, though he does tend to focus on the unconscious mind.<br /><br />His other personality is an opposite. This "Inkblot" is a more practical and realistic pony rather than theoretical. He can often act more forceful and brash, and doesn't hesitate to intervene or express his ideas. He only cares for the results, not the process, therefore he tries to find the most efficient method or solution. Inkblot's alternate personality also tends to speak French, in contrast with the original personality speaking German (sometimes Prussian dialect). This secondary personality also likes to romanticize seemingly unrealistic worlds of his own, and instead of being cognitive, focuses on biological and environmental causes which affects a person in psychology.<br /><br />This alternate personality was intentionally created by Inkblot after his brother's traumatic event to make himself feel tougher. He is aware of it, though he somehow loses pieces of his memory as he switches, which is why he keeps a "memory" journal to recall previous events; he can not control what he does between personalities. He can remain in his secondary personality for hours, sometimes days. His secondary personality takes the same identity of his original one, though they sometimes identify each other by using different languages for the same name (Tintenklecks and Tache d'encre, respectively). <br /><br />

Backstory: Inkblot was born in Trottingham, and had a male sibling three years his elder and two parents, both of who worked as university professors of history and economics. His parents being of a different race (not species), he inherited both of their racial makeup, his Germane one from his father being the most dominant. <br /><br />Influenced by his parents, he was able to learn three languages at a young age, making Inkblot a highly knowledgeable colt, which ultimately contributes to his occupation, having more opportunities on whatever occupation he chose.<br /><br />He was born with a sense of curiosity and a willingness to learn, especially about the pony's mind, originally inspired after finding out that the pony's brain was complex and one, special set existed for every pony, and in a wider view, every living thing. It was miraculous, and Inkblot set up on a quest to learn this field which made the most complex of things into something much simpler.<br /><br />At eight, a tragedy struck Inkblot's family, Inkblot himself which was affected the most. His brother, age eleven at that time, died unexpectedly by a sudden brain hemorrhage. It's direct cause was presumed to be caused by possible recent damage, though his cause of death remained unknown. Nonetheless, Inkblot was highly devastated by this event; never again will his life be the same.<br /><br />Losing a sibling caused him to feel an empty sense inside his body. His acquisition of his cutie mark a year later eventually forced him to realize that he needed to move on than stray in a past. It was a difficult realization: at first he couldn't accept what had occurred, and he then loss interest on what he normally liked. The appearance of his cutie mark made him a bit excited, though he still wished a specific somepony was there.<br /><br />He grew up with little trouble, and entered university to further increase his knowledge regarding psychology. After getting his M.S., he first applied as a school counseling psychologist.<br /><br />That was when his secondary personality began to appear. Inkblot was beginning to lose memories of past events; desperately, he wrote whatever he had left in his mind into a journal. Unusual headaches and a feeling of detachment to his body was also frequent. <br /><br />Inkblot eventually found out the truth for himself based off of other ponies' observations: he seemed to act out of place occasionally, sometimes doing things that are supposedly unnatural to him. Wanting to confirm his beliefs, Inkblot went to a psychiatrist to diagnose himself.<br /><br />The psychiatrist concluded that his "problem" may be him simply acting erratic; Inkblot soon began to think outside. After experiencing a hallucination in which he personally met his alternate personality, his suspicions were confirmed: he had a split personality.<br /><br />Inkblot kept quiet about the issue and decided to solve his disorder for himself. He temporarily left his occupation as school counselor to get his Ed. D., which he acquired at age 30. <br /><br />Currently, he works both as a school counselor and clinical psychologist, which he works with a psychiatrist named Synapse. Inkblot has also married during his process of getting his degree; he has a four year old Pegasus filly named Magnet Electron. His dissociative identity disorder is somewhat controlled, though unpredictable changed between personalities can happen. Inkblot had stopped on finding a cure; he had decided to simply live with it, believing that his alternate personality didn't need to affected his life.
