Appearance: Isolde is a pink hippogriff with purple feathers on her head and a purple and mint green tail. Her eyes are cyan blue, standing out a bit against her pastel coloration. Her head-feathers are tipped with a darker purple.
Cutie Mark: Her cutie mark is the moon and stars, symbolizing that she is a dreamer and reaches for the stars. She doesn't fully understand what she is supposed to do in life with such a cutie mark, and wanders almost aimlessly trying different things that catch her fancy.
Personality: Isolde has the potential to be a good leader; if she could see it. She can be quite harsh when she feels it necessary and isn't afraid of bashing in heads to get the right action taken or achieve the correct results. Her intentions are typically good, and she doesn't want to hurt anypony who doesn't deserve it, but she feels very strongly about what she believes is right and will stop at just about nothing to see to it that that's what happens. However, she's more often found on her own, away from other creatures, as she gets easily frustrated when they don't see things the way she does.
Backstory: Once a citizen of the island hippogriff kingdom, Isolde was rather cheery as a filly. She lived in a happy, albeit somewhat dysfunctional, family. However, when she moved out on her own to start her own life, she felt stagnant, and yearned for more than the seemingly dull life she'd been leading. Not prepared to settle down, she decided to adventure across the lands, learning different things about the world and experiencing more than her native land had had to offer.

Having little to no money to her name, Isolde became a bit of a pirate, stealing things here and there so that she could eat (although at first she felt horribly guilty for each item she stole, and to some extent, still does) and periodically investigating reports of ancient artifacts that could have some amount of value, collecting and selling them when and where she could. Her exploits eventually lead her to take up residence in Equestria, where she works, from time to time, doing odd jobs, in essence being a mercenary for hire--though rarely performing any violent jobs. She typically turns down any malice-fueled work as well, but otherwise has a fairly gray moral compass, accepting most tasks if there is reward. She continues tracking down reported artifacts when she hears of them.

She isn't exactly happy with this life, but it is the life she has until she can figure out where she truly belongs.
