Appearance: Jade has amber eyes, a jade green coat and a fuchsia mane and tail. The mane has a fringe and the back runs down her neck. The tail is short.<br /><br />She wears a red sleeveless martial arts shirt, and white fighting wraps around her legs. A lotus flower is set on her left ear. A red-hilted sword sits in the sheath on her back.

Cutie Mark: Her cutie mark is the Chinese symbol for 'courage', surrounded by a ring of fire.<br />It symbolises her confidence and fiery spirit.

Personality: Jade is friendly, fun-loving, and not afraid to get into a fight. She has a strong sense of justice, and will assist anyone in need of help or being ganged up on.<br /><br />At the same time, she is also head-strong and can get cocky when on the winning side of a battle. She can also be quite impatient, and will grow impatient and more erratic in her attacks if she cannot get in an opening.

Backstory: Jade Lotus was born and raised in a monastery in the mountains of Neighsia, the closest city being Hayjing. As a filly, she developed an interest in martial arts from watching students in the monastery's fighting school practice, and she was enrolled in the foals' class. She showed great promise, if a bit of impatience and a small lack of restraint.<br />However, an old Kirin master named Xiang saw potential in the filly, and took her for personal classes as well.<br /><br />She received her cutie mark upon graduating from her class and moving onto the older one. Her personal training with Master Xiang continued.<br /><br />Now a respected member of her monastery and a talented fighter, she travels around the lands to learn new techniques, meet new ponies and discover new lands.
