Appearance: Dark purple fur, black and mint green mane and tail. Blue eyes. Black muzzle. Undersized for her age.

Cutie Mark: Update: Jay finally developed a cutie mark, of a healing symbol and a phoenix feather intertwined. It represents her talent for healing magic and the way that she can now lead a new life and leave the past behind.<br /><br />Jay no longer has a cutie mark, not since Jinx finally left her mind. She hasn't had time as of yet to develop her special talent so is at the moment, a blank flank.<br /><br />Jay's old cutie mark was a yin yang sign. It synbolised Jay's troubles; the dark side was the evil mage Jinx who was occupying her mind; the light represented Jay. When Jinx was able to recreate her old body and leave Jay's mind, the cutie mark no longer applied and vanished.

Personality: Jay has a problem. She has another personality which shares her body, and this one is evil. Jay is quiet, painfully shy, finds it difficult to make friends and can be cowardly. She prefers to run rather than fight. Jinx, on the other hand, is rude, obnoxious, spiteful and malicious. She uses her magic to attack other ponies, sometimes for a reason, other times, just to entertain herself. She's also more than a little crazy. <br /><br />Since the separation, Jay is a lot happier and is more inclined to meet other ponies and make friends. She is very self conscious tho about her lack of a cutie mark at her age.<br /><br />Since finally getting a cutie mark, Jay is a lot more confident.

Backstory: Jay was a normal filly, leading a fairly normal life til that fateful day when Jinx appeared. Jay was a quiet unicorn filly and was targeted by bullies from her first day at school onwards. One day, the bullies cornered her in the playground and threw her from the top of the climbing frame. She hit her head hard on the corner of the climbing frame as she fell; when she stood up, there was another pony using her body. This was Jinx. She lifted the bullies into the air and threw them thru the playground fence, breaking both it and several bones in the process. Since then, Jay has lived a nightmare life, ostracised from friends and family due to Jinx. She wishes only for the day that she can be free of this other personality.<br /><br />Jinx once lived a life in Canterlot as one of the upper classes. The unicorn mare had a thirst for power and studied dark magic, longing to become immortal. She achieved her wish, but paid a terrible price; performing the spell, her body was destroyed. However, her essence survived; she had succeeded in her plan. Jinx possessed Jay's body at the moment that Jay cracked her head and now resides within.<br /><br />Jinx bided her time til the day that Jay was finally strong enough to perform the dark magic spell that would recreate Jinx's old body so that she could leave Jay's mind. When that happened, Jinx reanimated her body and went elsewhere to practice her dark arts. Jay was finally able to lead the normal life she had dreamed of all those years.
