Cutie Mark: A golden weighing scale similar to those used to represent justice. This represents Joseph's constant will to balance everything out.
Personality: Joseph always tries to be as sociable and outgoing as possible. He tries to get to know everybody he meets as quick as possible so he can decide if they are a worthwhile person to talk to. He is always on alert during a conversation for any suspicious statements. Joseph always wants the world to be a completely fair and balanced place so he often helps out small business owners if they are in competition with larger companies. Joseph always helps the underdog out in any situation and often ignores the opposite side of the argument. This causes issues as Joseph will get himself on the "wrong" side of lawsuits sometimes and back up faulty accusations against larger companies. He has an excellent understanding of the law and knows a great deal of lawyers which he contacts to help out in court cases. Joseph almost never backs down if he thinks he is in the right and would much rather prove somebody guilty then taking a bribe or backing out of a case because of external pressure. Whenever he gets money form winning a case he always buys something nice for them like a new piece of furniture or a holiday somewhere out of town.
Backstory: Joseph has lived in Manehatten for his entire life. His parents worked in low paying factory jobs most of the time but always set time aside to help Joseph out with school work. One day his father made up a new machine that could be used to increase productivity at the clothing factory were he worked. He proposed the concept to his employer but after a lengthy inspection, his idea was declined. Joseph's father was confused as to why his idea was declined but after a few months the factory upgraded it's old equipment using designs which were based off of Joseph's fathers designs. The increase in production lead to layoffs and Josephs father found himself on the layoff list. His father was outraged but he did not have the money nor knowledge to do much about the situation.

Joseph's family was reduced to near poverty as a result of the income drop. The incident with the factory had a massive impact on Joseph and he decided to embark on a mission to bring the factory owner to justice. All this by the age of 12. Joseph spent most of his time at school solving school yard disputes between classmates and called out teachers if they treated students unfairly. Eventually at the age of 17, Joseph decided that he was good enough to bring the factory case to court. He used all the money he had saved up to hire a cheep lawyer and spent all of his spare time researching about similar cases. After a year and a half long battle, Joseph sued factory and got away with enough money to support his family for a whole year. This gave Joseph his cutie mark and convinced him that he would help out small companies in fighting against major corporations.
