Appearance: Her mane coat is a mix of gold and pale yellow, with light, straw-colored markings. Her mane is a dull ember with faded tawny streaks. She often wears a burnt orange cloak and golden anklets. Her eyes are a bright amber.

Cutie Mark: A glowing golden-black-and-burning Ouroboros emblem. It signals eternity, a never-ending cycle. Reincarnation.

Personality: Eccentric, mildly layed back. <br />Whimsical, curious, and often unorthadox, Kalith is content to stroll through life at her own pace. This doesn't mean she is incapable of focusing or becoming serious, though it is extremely difficult for her to do so ((unless the topic of interest is especially attractive to her, she'd rather not give it a second thought)) However, should said topic of interest manage to catch her eye, she can become extremely devoted to it, sometimes straying into the "unhealthy obsession" zone. Empty conversations annoy her; she'd rather there be a point to the conversation, or a reason to speak, or else she will not bother investing herself in it. That being said, she doesn't really have the patience ((or interest)) for gossip and idle chatter. <br />A workaholic. As mentioned previously, she can sometimes over-devote herself to certain topics, to the point where it gets unhealthy. Sometimes, she requires someone to be there to tell her when enough is enough.

Backstory: Kalith was born and raised in Cloudsdale, spending most of her life in school ((as any normal young filly)) At a young age, she befriended one of her teachers, an Astrology and Mythos professor by the name of Siobhan. As she grew older, Siobhan taught her many things about the stars, as well as Equestria's "Dark Ages". Her somewhat eclectic and outcasted professor had a penchant for conspiracies and a deeply rooted belief that someday those Dark Ages would return. <br />One day, Siobhan vanished; leaving everything behind. It was rumored that her elder sister, Darkessie had also disappeared. Kalith never saw her professor again ((or so she would come to think)), and likewise; neither did anyone else. Deeply troubled, she decided to investigate. To everyone else, she seemed obsessed; just as crazy as Siobhan had been. She became a pariah, purposely secluding and burying herself in her studies. Using past journals that Siobhan had left behind, Kalith searched for the truth.<br />Eventually, she found it. At the age of eighteen, Kalith was unexpectedly reunited with her mentor. In the dead of night, she was visited by a strange, eerily-accurate-at-pinpointing-one's-location-even-though-she-was-blind mare who called herself Desdemona. Said visitor had nothing much to say, only that there was "much to discuss" and that Siobhan wanted to see her. Immediately. Desdemona took her to the Celatum, the sanctuary of the Lucerna, where they met up with three others; Icarus, Reminiscence, and Merlot. From there they traveled to what the four called the "Echo Chamber", which was essentially a giant, spiral staircase leading even deeper into the ground, all the way to an enormous antechamber filled with mirrors. There were five marble pillars on each side, placed vertically about the room. The room was lit with a large, iron chandelier of lavender fire, and a black carpet lead to a large, stone table ((which could seat about ten)) set atop a dais at the back of the room. Sitting at that table was Siobhan, as well as a few other strange ponies Kalith had never met before. In the following hours, Siobhan and her sister, Darkessie, explained to her the purpose of Lucerna, and offered her a place as part of the organization. Over the following months, she became a part of the Lucerna's "Inner Circle", attending important meetings and helping her teacher in the overall running of the Celatum, all while learning all she could of the Astral Realms.<br />Then came the war. She fought many key battles throughout the Sota Peilin, but during its final months, Siobhan sent her away. She told her that Desdemona, as DoomSayer, had informed her of a coming disaster in Canterlot. And so Kalith, aided by Shelevan ((another of Siobhan's disciples, and a member of the Inner Circle)), was sent to investigate.
