Cutie Mark: Her cutie mark is a white clock face in the style of a black hole, with a dark blue vortex.
Personality: Many ponies would think alicorns act prim and proper, keeping their behaviour in check, with an air of regality and regard for their appearance.

Khronus is the complete antithesis of this belief.

Energetic, fun-loving, curious, enthusiastic and a tad immature, she acts more like a foal hopped up on an unhealthy mix of sugar and caffeine than an alicorn princess. She'd much rather play around and enjoy herself than rule over anything. She's also a bit of a prankster, using her powers to play tricks on mortals and even other alicorns.

It's rare for her to take anything seriously, unless it's to do with anypony being hurt or upset. She also has a bit of a short temper.
Backstory: Not much is known about Khronus's origins, except to herself. Many accounts of Equestrian lore depicts her as the Princess, or even Goddess, of time and space. It's said that time began when she was born, and some even say that she was the one who shaped the universe with her spacial abilities.

Of course, if you ask her in person, the best answer you'll get is a brief synopsis. The worst is a long pantomime of what she assumes they want to hear, complete with voice changing and enthusiastic acting about being "born from the grandmasters of time and space or something".

However, there is a true story.

Back during Equestria's medieval period, Khronus was just a unicorn. A young mage with the interesting gift of time manipulation. She could slow down, speed up, freeze and even rewind time. After extensive experimenting with her abilities, an idea came to her; could she combine her power with a teleportation spell to create time travel?

And so, she got to work. She began spending days, weeks, then months on calculations and experiments on the idea of time and teleportation. Many experiments came close, but she found the best method to harness this energy was through her magic-storage crystals.

Using some of these crystals, she made a set up akin to a modern-day portal generator. By casting a time spell, then a teleporation spell at the crystals, in theory, she could create a portal to another time period.

Things changed as she began to put it in practice. After casting at the crystals, what she received was a rather explosive reaction. Her study was almost destroyed, and she was struck directly with a force of magical power, warping her abilities as well as her very appearance.

When she came to, she was shocked to find that she had sprouted a pair of wings somehow. She assumed it had to do with her meddling with the laws of time-space.
However, after discovering her new abilities, she was elated that, despite not going exactly going to plan, her experiment was a success!

And naturally, being who she was, she began using her new gift to her own advantage. She started travelling to different places and periods of time, solely to amuse herself and meet other ponies. Solely because she could.

She began having rumours spread that she was a Princess of Space and Time, but she finds it too amusing to deny. Plus, she doesn't want to break anyone's hopes. So, she just ran with it.

She still secretly thinks about why her experiment had made her an alicorn, and occasionally looks into clues to that mystery.

But until then, she has knight duels to watch and philosophers' minds to blow.
