Personality: Uncompromisingly ambitious on behalf of his nation, Archus has little time for those that stand in his way - be it internal dissent or foreign intransigence. Although not without feelings, he tends to disregard moral and ethical arguments when it comes to matters of state.

Backstory: Raised from birth to succeed his father King Archibald, Archus has grand ambitions for the kingdom - restricted only by an intransigent parliament controlled by the landed aristocracy.<br /><br />His father angered parliament by assembling his own inner-circle of advisors and experts rather than relying on the advice of parliament, and the relationship has yet to recover despite the death of King Archibald. King Archus II has kept up this 'tradition'.
