Appearance: Solomane is a towering black Stallion with featherless wings on his back. His hooves glow like coals and leave smoking scorch marks in his wake.

Personality: Solomane loves to speak in riddles and is very rarely forward in his dealings with Ponies. He doesn't much care for the affairs of the ponies above but if somepony manages to impress him he may offer assistance to them but only those he deems worthy of his time.

Backstory: Solomane once was a powerful king with his own empire. So mighty was his power he waged a war against the Alicorns which ultimately proved unsuccessful. He and his ponies were cursed and banished to a subterranean realm below Equestria were they have been ever since. While Solomane is no longer "evil" in the traditional sense of the word (He's a king that only wants the best for his ponies) woe to any intruder unlucky enough to wander too deeply into the caves beneath Equestria, for in the darkness below are the Blood Hooves and their infernal King.
