Kumori Akuma
Age: Unkown. Over a hundred at least
Gender: Female
Species: Unicorn
Cutie Mark: a blob of pure black goopy substance (Much like tar) surrounded by a white cloud.

This represents Kumori's seemingly loving nature when she really only cares about herself on the inside. Her talent would be being able to use dark magic, much like King Sombra...though more of some sort of tar like sludge. Sounds odd but she is quite powerful.
Personality: This is a complicated thing. Kumori acts kind, caring and very sweet almost 100% of the time...however when she does reveal her true self, she's selfish, dark, evil, full of hate, and has a lust for death and decay. Though she is an expert at keeping that hidden, coming off as a friendly kind hearted normal pony.
Backstory: Kumori was born in a land far from Equestria. Even she can barely remember her parents who were lower class unicorns in a society full of war and disease.

Kumori grew up in the woods far from most cities. Her father was a blacksmith in the small nearby town and her mother grew herbs and alike...though neither of those things ever interested Kumori. Since she could remember, she'd always had an interest in magic.
When she was six she got her first spell book, that her parents had been saving up for her...she was quite excited and couldn't wait to learn more magic...but was disappointed to find that all the spells in the book were...pointless. Things like being able to make veggies grow faster...or clean water without using a filter.

She knew there was no way her parents would get her something more advanced so she learnt from the book, knowing that when she finished with this one...they'd end up buying her another.
She learnt how to heal other ponies, how to filter water, and many other things.

A year later she had mastered the book and was eager for another...but sadly she never got one as her mother became ill.
This was when Kumori was a little girl so her and her father did their best to tend to Kumori's mother...but there wasn't anything they could do. Kumori's father contracted the illness a few days after her mother died.

Kumori ran to the town for help, looking for a powerful unicorn to be rid of the plague from her home...but none dared even enter the forest where Kumori's house was.

The young mare managed to keep her father in somewhat good health for the next few months but...there was nothing she could do when winter hit. They had no money...no warmth and Kumori's father died one cold night.

Kumori stared at his body for hours on end, shivering but more out of anger then cold...he easily could have been healed if one of the towns folk had helped...it was their fault.
Her anger soon turned to hate...which took a different roll. She laughed. As the storm moved away that morning Kumori had changed. She buried her father next to her mothers grave before walking into town...most assumed she was also sick, cursed, or...was a unicorn using dark magic...which wasn't quite true...yet.

Kumori vowed that day that she'd be the one to watch the village burn...she'd be the one to make every pony suffer. A thirteen year old unicorn, who should have been playing with friends, playing pranks, planned on destroying the whole town.

She spent all her money on the books of advanced magical spells and a history of dark curses. Throughout the next year, she grew food from the garden but...that was never enough. She reverted to killing animals near her home for food, drinking water from the stream, spending all her time learning dark magic...and it was the next winter when she finally had her revenge...which was what sealed her fate for the future. She summoned dark souls to aid her in the destruction of the town but at a price...they bound themselves to her and she let them...but it changed her, making her lust for destruction move beyond revenge...there were towns just like this around the world...it was her job to purge this world of them to make it a better place...starting with her home.

On the same night her father had died a year later, she set the town ablaze with black fire. It spread from house to house, not letting the occupants escape. Kumori basked in their screams as if relaxing on a sunny beach.

She remained in the burnt town for several days, gathering what she could and making sure that everypony who lived there had died before she moved onto the next.

This went on for many years to come...but it changed when she was beginning to grow old. She was in her late sixties when the guards from cities and many other places had finally caught up to her...but by that time she had physically changed herself so much she could barely even be considered a pony. Vowing her revenge (which had become a death sentence for anyone who heard her utter those words) She ran. She ran as far and as fast as her legs would carry her.

She moved for months, travelling on hoof, by boat...enough to get away and prepare.

But after years of travelling and running...she grew tired, stopping in a dark forest...which was when, in a last ditch attempt at keeping herself alive, she allowed the demons she had tied her soul to so many years before take over. There wasn't much for them to do except revive her and give her magic an extra boost...they let her keep her body under control as long as she did as they ordered, which was to explore this new land, learn of its ways, find new spells and so on. In doing so, if she made sacrifices to them regularly, putting the blood of whomever or whatever she kills into a bracelet she's kept with her since her childhood. If she gives the demons blood (Through the bracelet) she'd be given life in return...and she knew, the longer she lived, the more time she'd have to discover something to destroy her home land.

And there she's remained, a figure deep within a forest near a city resting upon a mountain. And though its been several years, her goal has never changed...rid the world of all unfit to live...in other words, destroy whoever disobeyed her.
