Appearance: Light purple fur, dark red mane and tail with blonde streaks, white socks on all four feet.

Cutie Mark: A paintbrush and easel, signifying that Lace loves to make art.

Personality: Depends. Lace generally is quirky, fun and jokey, but she has her black moods and her meltdowns ocassionally. She's always ready to socialise with her friends and Lace is always loyal to her friends, fiance and family, but woe betide anypony who tries to take advantage! Lace can be very paranoid cuz of bad things that happened in her past and she finds it difficult to trust new people. She can also be pessimistic, and is too quick to lose her temper, especially in response to teasing and windups.

Backstory: She is a unicorn mare who grew up in a small village just off Trottingham. Lace was bullied at school cuz of having white socks, and at first, she tried to conform by painting her socks purple to disguise them. Eventually, Lace found that not only was this not working, but that she didn't want to be friends with such nasty ponies anyway.<br /><br />So one day, when one of the fillies who bullied her hit her across the face with a hoof, Lace swung round and gave the bully a double hoofed kick in return. After this, the bullies left her alone and Lace decided that she wasn't going to try and conform, but was going to embrace her differentness. From that day on, she stopped painting out her socks and instead, began to enjoy making artwork, eventually earning her cutie mark; a paintbrush and easel.<br /><br />Lace eventually, after overcoming several troubles and difficulties and growing as a person, met a stallion named Ace in a pub at the jukebox. He was drawn to the mare who looked different from all the other mares in the pub, and they began to go out. Eventually, the pair got engaged and have been together for over twelve years. They are very happy together.
